Peter Ahmed has nearly 30 years of progressive experience in international planning, development and implementation. His career background includes sales, service, and outsourcing management skills, building cooperative business relationships and providing strategic advisory services that help bridge governmental, commercial and academic institutions and entities.

Prior to joining Weber Merritt, Mr. Ahmed was president of GDI & Associates, a consultancy serving companies and governments in metropolitan Washington, D.C., on a variety of issues and projects.

In addition, Mr. Ahmed helped establish a Center of Excellence for research, product design and development, manufacturing, marketing, distribution, and sales in the United States, Asia and Europe for a major technology company.

In his senior executive role at Weber Merritt, Mr. Ahmed builds cooperative relationships between government and commercial entities in Asia as the company advises companies and governmental entities in that region of the world.

Mr. Ahmed has a B.A. in government from the University of San Francisco and completed the Executive Education Program at the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business.
