Bill brings more than 20 years of political organizing and policy issue management to Weber Merritt.  Most recently, he served as Deputy Executive Director for Strong American Schools, a nonprofit organization that raised awareness of education reform with policymakers and opinion leaders. 

Previously he served as Vice President with DCI Group, a national public affairs company, where he managed national advocacy campaigns through strategic grassroots activity for Fortune 500 companies. 

In the public sector, Bill served as Director of Legislative Affairs for the Department of Homeland Security on complex security and immigration issues for the Border and Transportation Security directorate.  He also held positions in the White House Office of Presidential Personnel.  His campaign experience includes positions on the Bush-Cheney 2000 Presidential campaign and Director of Research for both the Republican National Committee and the National Republican Congressional Committee. 

Bill holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.  He lives in Alexandria with his wife and young son.
